Autel EVO 2 Dual is the industry's first drone that combines an infrared camera from Flir with an 8K video camera. With a thermal resolution of up to 640x512 and an 8K sensor, the EVO 2 becomes a highly useful workhorse. Emergency services, contractors, and business owners finally have a compact and portable tool that meets virtually all their industrial drone needs.
**Dual Sensor Camera**
The dual-sensor camera includes an 8K camera and a Flir infrared camera. The device can operate in standard visible, infrared, and dual modes. Additionally, this camera captures infrared images with a resolution of 640 x 512 (640) or 320 x 256 (320) and records 720p video at 30 frames per second in dual image mode.
**Variety of Shooting Modes**
All three camera modules support a multitude of shooting modes, including: frame-by-frame; continuous shooting; auto exposure bracketing (AEB); time-lapse; high dynamic range (HDR) images; Nightbeat (high signal-to-noise ratio).
**Autel Live Deck Enables Real-Time Image Playback**
High-definition live streaming from the EVO 2 drone's camera can be displayed on your remote control screen or connected to the Autel Live Deck for playback on any device, including computers, TVs, phones, etc. Images and videos can be stored in the drone's built-in memory or on a microSD card.
**Field of View at Any Angle from 0° to 90°**
The EVO II Dual Drone features a high-precision 3-axis gimbal that keeps the camera stable during flight, ensuring image stability and clarity. Additionally, you can use the tilt scale on the remote control to adjust the tilt axis to any angle from 0° to 90° at any time.
**EVO II - Dynamic Tracking with Enhanced AI**
EVO II Dual Smart Tracking utilizes deep learning algorithms for automatic tracking of a selected object while avoiding obstacles during flight. The feature can track an object in three modes: behind, beside, or in a fixed position.
**360° Obstacle Detection**
The front, rear, left, right, top, and bottom binocular vision systems of the EVO 2 Dual use image data to calculate the distance between the aircraft and potential obstacles. The drone will detect potential hazards up to 30 meters away and accurately control its speed to avoid collisions.
**Point of Interest**
The point of interest feature allows the user to send the drone to a selected destination by tapping a point on the screen. It has the same waypoint functions as the EVO for programming autonomous flight routes. The EVO II Dual can store multiple waypoints, making shooting easier.
**Automatic Return Home and Precision Landing**
The EVO 2 Dual will automatically return home in case of low battery or loss of signal. Additionally, the lower camera of the EVO 2 operates in density and depth mapping mode. The drone calculates the flatness and depth of the terrain to ensure a precise and safe landing.
**Long Flight Time**
The Autel EVO 2 Dual comes standard with a 7100 mAh battery. It provides up to 40 minutes of flight in a straight line at a distance of up to 9 km and up to 35 minutes in hover mode. The maximum speed is up to 72 km/h. Furthermore, the EVO II Dual has no restrictions on geofencing or cellular connectivity.
