Maximum functionality and upgradeability
The ASUS Mini PC PN41 is an ultra-compact computer suitable for a wide range of home and commercial applications. Its hardware configuration includes a mobile Intel processor with UHD Graphics and DDR4-2933 memory, making it ready to handle high computational loads, while the small size of the device allows for saving desk space or using it where a traditional computer simply won't fit, such as in a digital signage setup.
Performance
The Mini PC PN41 features a modern mobile Intel processor (Pentium Silver or 11th Gen Celeron), providing a significant speed boost compared to standard chips of the same class: up to 36.45% in single-threaded tasks, up to 31.8% in multi-threaded tasks, and up to 32% in overall system performance.
Integrated Graphics Processor
The UHD Graphics core has become significantly more powerful compared to what was used in the previous generation of Intel mobile processors: by 90% in the 3DMark11 v1.0.132 benchmark and by a full 120% in 3DMark Fire Strike.
Support for 2.5G Ethernet Standard
The built-in Ethernet adapter complies with the 2.5G Ethernet standard, allowing for wired network connections at speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps—substantially faster than traditional 1G Ethernet adapters.
Power Delivery Standard
Thanks to support for USB Power Delivery, the Mini PC PN41 can receive power from compatible monitors and other devices without the need for a separate power supply.
Three Displays Simultaneously
Using the HDMI interface, USB-C port (in DisplayPort mode), and a configurable port, the Mini PC PN41 can output 4K resolution images to three displays simultaneously.
Diverse Use Cases
The Mini PC PN41 can output images to three displays at once, making it a cost-effective choice for setting up digital signage in waiting rooms, exhibitions, or retail stores. Additionally, the built-in microphone array and support for remote controls are useful for communication in offices or conference rooms. Support for Power Delivery and the built-in 2.5G Ethernet adapter simplify device connection and setup.
Stylish, Compact Case
The Mini PC PN41 is an incredibly lightweight and compact computer, housed in a case measuring just 115 x 115 x 49 mm (volume - 0.62 L), so it won't take up much space on your desk, and its stylish design will fit well into the interior of a modern home, office, or store. A convenient feature of this mini-computer is the ability to mount it on the back of monitors compatible with the VESA mounting standard.
Fanless Cooling and SSD Heat Sink
When equipped with a 6-watt processor, this mini-computer is cooled without the use of fans. This version would be an excellent choice for industrial applications where increased reliability and low noise levels are important. Additionally, a separate heat sink is used for cooling the solid-state drive, resulting in an average operating temperature of just 50°C. Test system configuration: Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, 32 GB DDR4-2933 memory, solid-state drive (512 GB, M.2).
High-Speed Interfaces
The Mini PC PN41 is equipped with a full set of interfaces, including USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with support for DisplayPort 1.4 mode. There is also a configurable port with optional functionality: video output, network interface, or COM port for supporting legacy peripheral devices. The mini-computer can be powered via Power Delivery through the USB-C connector.
Effective Cooling
Monitoring the temperature of the solid-state drive and pre-installed fan control modes help adapt the cooling of the Mini PC PN41 to any usage scenario.
Holistic Approach
The cooling fan can automatically adjust its speed based on the temperature of the drive in the M.2 slot. In previous models of mini-computers, only the temperature of the central processor was considered.
Multiple Operating Modes
In the BIOS interface, you can select one of three cooling system modes according to the current usage scenario of the device.
Energy Savings and Environmental Protection
Thanks to its high energy efficiency, ASUS mini-computers not only help save on electricity but also contribute to environmental preservation, as recognized by several environmental certifications, including Energy Star. The power consumption of the Mini PC PN41 in standby mode is only 3.69 W. Additionally, it is a very quiet device. Under full load, its noise level rises only to 34.1 dBA, while in the fanless version it does not exceed 23.5 dBA.
Thorough Testing
Like full-sized desktop computers from ASUS, compact models undergo rigorous testing to ensure their ability to operate in extreme conditions. Specifically, the allowable temperature range for these devices starts from sub-zero temperatures and goes up to temperatures above 60°C!*
